The Truth About ISON...Is THIS Really a "Comet"? (Encouragement to Do Your Own Research!)

by Julie Kramer, President of Advanced Survival Technology and Dr. Simon Atkins, CEO of Advanced Forecasting Corporation on 10/30/13

The Truth About ISON...Interesting what a little added "exposure" can do to the weekly images we are provided of "Comet" ISON...

I encourage all to research the following information and images yourself at the following website link or by utilizing the web under a search for ISON WEB IMAGE VIEWER and you will find the link as well:

http://hla.stsci.edu/cgi-bin/display?image=hlsp_ison_hst_wfc3_130430_f606w_v1&autoscale&title=Ison+130430+WFC3+F606W

Once locating ISON, you can utilize the tools at the top to lighten darken and invert images - and if you darken the over-exposed photos we are provided weekly by our media sources, you will see quite clearly, this object appears as 3 separate parts - not the resemblance of the "comet" that is being portrayed to us, and certainly not the shape of the typical or expected "comet nucleus"), and what types of increased solar activity/space weather effects can we expect from this clearly unusual energy source(s)?

An example of this can be viewed here in the video that was submitted to us sharing this information.

SIGNIFICANT FLARE Via Spaceweather.com

by Julie Kramer, President of Advanced Survival Technology and Dr. Simon Atkins, CEO of Advanced Forecasting Corporation on 08/17/13

SIGNIFICANT FLARESunspot AR1818 erupted on August 17th at 1824 UT, producing a long duration M3-class solar flare. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the action:

The movie (play it again) shows material from the blast site flying into space. It is too soon to say whether Earth is in the line of fire. Stay tuned for updates as more data arrive from the SOHO and STEREO spacecraft.

Dark Filament, Chance of Storms, & Eclipse Via Spaceweather.com

by Julie Kramer, President of Advanced Survival Technology and Dr. Simon Atkins, CEO of Advanced Forecasting Corporation on 08/10/13

DARK FILAMENT: The biggest dark mark on the sun today is not a sunspot, it's a magnetic filament. Measuring more than 300,000 km from end to end, and filled with cool plasma, the sprawling structure is an easy target for backyard solar telescopes. "Most likely this filament will collapse," predicts Castillo. "The question is, how long it will last until it does?"

If the filament does collapse (a big IF), it could crash into the stellar surface and produce a Hyder flare. That may be the only chance of flares on the sun today. Although there are four numbered sunspot groups on the Earthside on the sun, none of them has a complex magnetic field that harbors energy for strong explosions. Aside from filaments, solar activity is low.

CHANCE OF STORMS: NOAA forecasters estimate a 60% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on August 10-11 when one and perhaps two CMEs are expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. The incoming clouds were propelled from the sun by a flurry of erupting magnetic filaments on Aug. 6-7.

ON A SIDENOTE: It is interesting (and not mentioned in the article) that this was also the same time frame the Moon eclipsed the Sun as read on the same news site (spaceweather.com) on August 7, 2013 - SOLAR ECLIPSE IN SPACE: Yesterday, August 6th, the new Moon passed in front of the sun, producing a partial solar eclipse. The only place to see it was from space.

ATTN: MAGNETIC FIELD REVERSAL ON THE SUN VIA NASA AND SPACEWEATHER.COM

by Julie Kramer, President of Advanced Survival Technology and Dr. Simon Atkins, CEO of Advanced Forecasting Corporation on 08/06/13

MAGNETIC FIELD REVERSAL ON THE SUN: It hasn't happened yet, but it's about to. Data from NASA-supported observatories show that the sun's global magnetic field will flip before the end of 2013. The reversal, which signals the arrival of Solar Maximum, will have ripple effects felt throughout the solar system. Credit: www.spaceweather.com

Erupting Magnetic Filaments Via Spaceweather.com

by Julie Kramer, President of Advanced Survival Technology and Dr. Simon Atkins, CEO of Advanced Forecasting Corporation on 07/27/13

ERUPTING MAGNETIC FILAMENTS: During the late hours of July 26th, two filaments of magnetism erupted on the sun. The first to blow was this loop on the sun's southwestern limb:

A second filament connecting sunspots AR1800 and AR1805 erupted shortly thereafter. Both blasts are captured in this movie, recorded by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory.

The explosions hurled coronal mass ejections (CMEs) into space: movie. One of them (the one propelled by the filament connecting AR1800 and AR1805) might be heading in the general direction of Earth. An analysis the CME's trajectory is in progress as more imagery becomes available.
